Roots ministry is for ages 3 through 4th graders. Our goal is to teach and train kids to grow deeper in their knowledge of the Bible and who God is. Not only do we want their knowledge to grow deep, but we also want to show and give them opportunities to apply what they are learning. Bible study time, one-on-one time with leaders, and an object lesson time allows us to do this in a fun, exciting, safe, and vibrant environment.
29:11 is an exciting ministry for grades 5 through 7 during the school year. We meet in the East Campus building of FBC. Our goal is to develop relationships with the students and help them realize God truly has a plan for every one of their lives. We want them to understand this truth, to know they are deeply loved by a perfect God, and to chase after Him in everything they do!
Echo ministry is for youth grades 8 through 12. The mission of the First Baptist Church Student Ministry is to provide a well-rounded, biblical foundation for its students to equip them in their current everyday walk, as well as for the rest of their lives. If a student is active in all aspects of Student Ministry, he or she will be equipped with a biblical worldview that will enable him or her to have a rich, meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. While it is important for students to have fun, and have opportunities to socialize with friends, that is not the primary focus for each event. The main purpose is to expose students to as many solid, biblically based ideas as possible to deepen their faith.
Wonderfully Made is a ministry for adults with Special needs. The program is based from the verse Psalm 139:14, "I will praise you for I am fearfully and Wonderfully Made" and that is the message that the class teacher and volunteers try to portray to the class. This class really is the hands and feet of Jesus. It is so sweet to experience the way that they love to worship our Lord!
